A graduate from Govt. College of Commerce and Economics, Mr. Basrai proceeded to UK for his higher studies. He holds a Fellowship from the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales. He had been the President of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and enriched the institution with his expertise in this field. He was the senior partner of the country’s leading Audit firm KPMG, Taseer Hadi & Company.

Mr. A.H. Basrai’s contribution towards the well-being of Commecs College over the years has been conspicuous and monumental. He instilled the innate desire in the hearts of all the members to compete and excel in their respective areas with resilience and determination till the completion of the task.

Mr. Basrai is well known for his multifarious contribution to society in the form many welfare projects he is associated with. But his major field of interest has always been education in real sense at all levels.
